Last month, our UK team rolled out their specially branded ‘I Scream Van’ across London. But this wasn't just any ice cream truck. While Londoners enjoyed free ice creams, they were in for an unexpected twist: edible insect toppings, including crickets, mealworms, and buffalo worms!
Yes, you read that right. Insects. On ice cream!
This playful and memorable event was a fantastic way to mark the start of our centennial celebrations. It perfectly encapsulates our down-to-earth and supportive culture, showing that while we're serious about protecting people and the planet, we also know how to have fun and engage with the public in an approachable way. It sparked conversations, surprised palates, and got people talking about Rentokil!
The 'I Scream Van' wasn't just about fun, though. It was also a subtle nod to our long history of Pioneering Technology Solutions and our commitment to understanding the world of insects, even when they're on a cone!
