Sweet Treats & Pest Control: How We Kicked Off Our 100th-Year Anniversary in the UK

At Rentokil Initial, we love to celebrate, and what better way to kick off our monumental 100th anniversary than with a truly unique and deliciously surprising event in the UK!
Last month, our UK team rolled out their specially branded ‘I Scream Van’ across London. But this wasn't just any ice cream truck. While Londoners enjoyed free ice creams, they were in for an unexpected twist: edible insect toppings, including crickets, mealworms, and buffalo worms!
Yes, you read that right. Insects. On ice cream!
This playful and memorable event was a fantastic way to mark the start of our centennial celebrations. It perfectly encapsulates our down-to-earth and supportive culture, showing that while we're serious about protecting people and the planet, we also know how to have fun and engage with the public in an approachable way. It sparked conversations, surprised palates, and got people talking about Rentokil!
