We are currently seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our dedicated team at the Rooks Bridge office. If you have experience working in a finance environment and enjoy providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role

As an Accounts Administrator you will be responsible for all aspects of billing in an allocated region, raising accurate and timely invoices and assisting with management reporting at month end. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Raising accurate and timely invoices using the contract billing sheet monthly
• Sending invoices to the correct recipient or if required submitting via a portal
• Managing contract billing sheets and processing changes for new contracts and contract changes and terminations
• Maintaining purchase order records
• Checking any new purchase orders to ensure they are accurate and follow up on any issues
• Maintaining accurate portfolio records 
• Processing job revenue invoicing instructions
• Raising and issuing proforma invoices
• Maintaining invoicing portals
• Interacting and updating internal systems and databases
• Supporting the credit control team with queries
• Supporting the sales team with billing queries
• Dealing with customers via phone and email
• Assisting with compiling management information
• Maintaining department inboxes
• Carrying out ad hoc admin tasks as required

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of finance experience

• Strong IT skills in particular excel
• Experience with Xero or other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Experience working in a billing environment would be advantageous
• Understanding of financial reporting would be beneficial
