Plantscape Installer

Calling all plant lovers and green thumbs! Join our dedicated team at Ambius (A Rentokil Initial Company) as a Plantscape Installer! 

You will play a vital role in preparing, loading, delivering, and installing various plant displays and goods at our customer locations.  This role is ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic working environment, have a genuine commitment to providing outstanding service and take great care of the plants. 

Location: Wellington branch, servicing the Lower North Island, with occasional travel to Napier, New Plymouth, and Palmerston North.
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Flexibility for occasional overnight stays for longer trips, weekend work or early/late shifts depending on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload the service vehicle while ensuring the safe delivery of plants to customer locations.
• Organize stock effectively to complete daily installation assignments.
• Install and remove plants following job specifications and client policies. 
• Maintain plants to company standards through regular watering, pruning, cleaning, and fertilizing.
• Address plant health issues and client concerns to enhance work environments.
• Complete service reports to document tasks performed and ensure timely follow-up with clients.
• Participate in outdoor and exterior installations when required.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times.
• Stay aware of client needs and identify opportunities to improve service standards.

Requirements:

• Eligible to work full-time in New Zealand.
• Full NZ driver's licence with a clean driving record. 
• Clean criminal record.
• Excellent customer service to build upon client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects. 
• Comfortable working on ladders and able to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Able to work independently in the field and manage time efficiently.
• Willingness to drive long distances and stay away from home if required.
• High attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targets.
• Confident using a mobile phone service app and devices.
• Experience or knowledge in horticulture, maintenance or building is desirable, but not mandatory.
