You would be supporting the Rentokil Pest Control business in GP Region
Requirements:
The Fumigation Supervisor role is responsible for the servicing of Rentokil Fumigation jobs and maintenance of quality service standards in client premises, to meet and exceed Company standards and customer expectations. To consistently train, manage and lead a stable team of service people to keep customers content to retain our services even at premium rates
Operational Focus Areas:
Fumigation Operations
- Contribute to the development of the annual operational plan
- Implement the regional annual operational plan to achieve competitive and cost effective service delivery across the region
- Plan fumigation for the Technicians to achieve in an optimised time frame and reduce operational costs
- Ensure a high degree of safety is applied in the fumigation environment
- Ensure Company service practices are met and identify any opportunities to improve service standards
- Ensure service efficiency is optimised through tools and technology available
- Ensure the company vehicles are maintained in a safe, reliable, and kept in a clean condition
Leadership
- Manage, develop and support staff as required to carry out services function in conjunction with the Branch Manager and/or National Manager
- Develop and enhance the competency of the team to meet and exceed targets
- Lead the safety agenda that is embedded within fumigation
Customer Service & Relationships
- Assist with identifying sales leads for the region
- Develop and maintain long term customer relationships
- Escalate problems to the Branch Manager/National Manager where appropriate
- Thorough and timely investigation of issues
Team Contribution
- Proactively support the region to achieve targets and deliverables
- Create and support a culture of continuous improvement relating to the Customer Services Team as a whole through constant participation and involvement in the region
- Ensure that the fumigation team supports the branches when required to fulfil duties outside the scope of fumigation
Contribution to other functions of the business
- Ensure understanding of team member’s roles and provide back-up support for planned and unplanned leave
- Contribute to the knowledge base of the organisation by proactively increasing knowledge of Rentokil Fumigation

Skills and Qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12
- Valid Drivers Licence
- A minimum of 10 years experience in operational pest control and therefore a detailed knowledge of Rentokil Pest Control Systems and technical / commercial practices.
- Fumigation Certificate
- Pest Field Biologist Certificate
- NQF 5 - Management
- A level of fitness required to maintain a level of work required by the position.
- Computer Literate
- Competencies in line with WL2 requirement
- Full NCPC Certificate will be an advantage
- Plus, qualified on internal systems:
- Pest Guard; PNOL; iCABS; HACCP
- International auditing standardising. AIB; YUM; BRC
