A vacancy has become avaialbe in our Payroll Department for a Junior Payroll Administrator. Our Payroll department is located in the area of Claremont, Cape Town.
This role entails conducting regular ad hoc audits to ensure data integrity. Additionally, the role involves providing monthly reporting for HR & Finance and maintaining the ongoing data integrity of the positional hierarchy. The individual in this role will also need to liaise with HR and relevant managers to address any anomalies. Furthermore, they will be responsible to code and following up on all input documentation received via email and post on a daily basis

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Input Processing on Workday:
- Banking Details
- New engagements
- Transfers & Job Changes
- Terminations
- Travel Allowance
- Update of employee information
- Audit of employee information
Monthly Administration
- Sort Payslips & Airfreight to Branches
- Save Input on monthly WD tracker.
- UI19 for the leavers
- Salary schedules
- Monthly Reports
Print various reports from VIP
- Save pay registers per branch.
- Print the Company Recon Report from VIP
- Update Recruitment Report
- Employee no. Listing
- Transfer & job changes.
- Salary stops.
Other Ad hoc duties: Other ad hoc projects and assisting the rest of the payroll team in meeting monthly deadlines.
SKILLS and COMPETENCIES
- Strong behavioural connection with values of service, relationships and teamwork
- High energy level / self-motivated /planning and organizing
- Good communication skills (written / verbal / non-verbal
- Strong financial numeracy and analytical skills
- Be structured and organized
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline driven environment
- Attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
- Qualification in Accounting or Payroll
- 1 - 3 years HR or Payroll experience
- VIP experience is essential
- Exposure to Workday - beneficial
- Computer literate - MS Office, Windows
