We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dedicated team at the Dudley office. If you have experience working in an accounts payable environment and enjoy providing excellent customer service this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will provide financial, administrative and clerical services for our business. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing supplier invoices, payments and statements
• Providing support to our accounts assistants
• Processing purchase orders
• Responding to and resolving both internal and external queries
• Processing BACs, CHAPS, cheques and direct debits
• Dealing with supplier statement reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end procedures
• Supporting with financial reporting

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience within an accounts payable role previously is essential

• Strong excel capability
• Qualified to AAT Level 2 or above would be desirable
• Strong data entry skills
• Ability to use own initiative
