We are currently seeking a Billing Administrator to join our dedicated team at the Dudley office. If you have experience working in a finance environment and enjoy providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role

As a Billing Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of billing in an allocated region, raising accurate and timely invoices and assisting with management reporting at month end. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Raising accurate and timely invoices using the contract billing sheet monthly
• Sending invoices to the correct recipient or if required submitting via a portal
• Managing contract billing sheets and processing changes for new contracts and contract changes and terminations
• Maintaining purchase order records
• Checking any new purchase orders to ensure they are accurate and follow up on any issues
• Maintaining accurate portfolio records 
• Processing job revenue invoicing instructions
• Raising and issuing proforma invoices
• Maintaining invoicing portals
• Interacting and updating internal systems and databases
• Supporting the credit control team with queries
• Supporting the sales team with billing queries
• Dealing with customers via phone and email
• Assisting with compiling management information
• Maintaining department inboxes
• Carrying out ad hoc admin tasks as required

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of finance experience

• Strong IT skills in particular excel
• Experience with Xero or other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Experience working in a billing environment would be advantageous
• Understanding of financial reporting would be beneficial
