Camberley - Hybrid working (5 days in the office per month)

Full time - FIXED TERM 12 MONTH CONTRACT

up to £26,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller within our Prokill business.

Rentokil Initial is one of the largest business service companies in the world comprising a number of global brands including Rentokil, Initial and Ambius. In the UK we have 10 businesses covering a range of business services from Pest Control, Washroom Hygiene, Specialist Cleaning, Interior Plants through to Property Preservation & Dental & Clinical Waste management

The main purpose of this role is to maximise the collection of debt and ensure remedial solutions are provided to ensure debtor days are reduced in line with targets.

As a credit controller you will be responsible for the following:

• Debt management and cash collection of customer accounts
• Responsible for own section of ledger
• Achievement of agreed collection targets
• Provide reports on performance of accounts
• To control and monitor the daily debt
• Monitor cash allocation and propose corrective action on allocated accounts where needed
• To ensure correct procedures and processes are in place as per credit policy established to chase payments from customers on a regular basis
• Ensure that your customers are your first priority and excellent customer service is delivered at all times
• Manage a high level workload and pick up any ad hoc projects to support the department
• Ensure that all franchise queries are resolved within agreed timeframes
• Ensure all Client queries are resolved within agreed timeframes
• Develop effective regular communication links with stakeholders

Requirements:

What you will need to succeed:

• Previous experience working in a collections environment would be an advantage
• Passion for initiating and facilitating continuous improvement
• Deliver to strict guidelines and to tight deadlines
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst meeting deadlines
• Understanding of audit controls
• Excellent IT skills including Word/Excel inc Pivot Tables
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible
• Good spoken & written communication skills
• Good organisational skills
• Show passion with a ‘can do’ attitude
