OTE £26,027 (top earners earning £27,000+)

Starting salary £24,400

Permanent - Full time

Monday - Friday

Location - We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced driver to join the Initial Medical team based out our Leeds branch.

Uncapped leads commission - this isn’t a sales job, but we reward you for passing any sales leads onto your local sales consultant.

Incremental salary increases - as a progressive employer we will give you all the tools and encouragement to develop your career at Initial Medical, and through our waste industry externally accredited training programme, your salary will increase with every successful level you achieve.

ADR driving licence - as part of your training programme you will also be enrolled on an external driving course for ADR “carriage of dangerous goods”. All funded by Initial Medical.

Enhanced holiday payments - as a driver you are entitled to extra holiday pay when you earn extra through overtime and commision. So the higher your additional earnings, the higher your holiday payments will be on a quarterly basis.

What is the job and what will you have to do?

If you enjoy driving, being out and about on the road, meeting new people and delivering excellent customer service. Then this could be the role for you!

Using small transit style vehicles for regular planned services, Initial Medical provides many products for the segregation, safe storage and transportation of all healthcare and infectious waste such as; bags; sharps units; dental amalgam pots; rigid containers and wheelie bins.

Waste is collected and returned daily to our waste transfer station depots prior to its final disposal or recovery.

Key Requirements

• A full UK driving license with two years’ experience and six points or less
• Great customer service skills
• Flexibility with working hours
• An ability to use your initiative and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Good geographical driving knowledge
• An ADR certificate (not essential as training will be provided)
