Job Summary: The Exterior Plant Specialist is responsible for the care, maintenance, and installation of plants and landscapes in outdoor environments. This includes tasks such as planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and ensuring the overall health and appearance of the exterior plants. The technician will also interact with clients, providing excellent customer service and advice on plant care.

You must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently.  Each day you will visit various customer sites and provide care for the plants by performing trained tasks such as grooming, rotating and watering. You must also possess a genuine desire to service customers by taking the best possible care of the plants in their work environment.

Salary Range:$21/Hr-$24/Hr

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Care and Maintenance:

• Perform regular maintenance of exterior plants including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control.
• Inspect plants for signs of disease or pests and take appropriate action.
• Ensure all plants are properly trimmed and maintained to enhance their health and aesthetic appeal.
  
  2. Installation and Landscaping:

• Assist in the planning and installation of new plantings and landscaping projects.
• Prepare soil and planting beds, including the removal of weeds and debris.
• Plant new flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery as required.
  
  3. Client Interaction:

• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Provide clients with plant care advice and recommendations.
• Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

• Solid communication and critical problem solving skills
• Experience caring for plants is preferred
• Experience interacting with clients
• Have a good driving record and ability to drive a van / truck
• Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders
• Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects
