Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: €30,000 per annum base salary, Paid Monthly | €35,000 OTE

Reporting to Branch Manager

Rentokil is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Field Biologists to serve our Clients across Ireland.

You will provide pest control services to a wide range of clients, using your customer service and problem-solving talents to determine the most effective and appropriate solutions to their individual pest issues. We deal with a varied range of pests ranging from rats to bedbugs, so you need to be prepared to get your hands dirty.

This role involves a lot of independent working and using your own initiative. Being able to manage your own time is essential.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Field Biologist position you will Ideally have the following;

• Full Irish driving licence
• Either a degree in a biological subject or having held a Technician role for at least one year and a pass mark in the BPCA Part 2 exam (or equivalent).
• Effective time management
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong commitment to delivering customer excellence.
• Strong organisation skills to effectively manage and prioritise workload.
• Good eye for detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Up to date knowledge of current legislation desirable
• Technical knowledge desirable

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake inspections of premises, plant and commodities in order to determine the presence and assess the extent and origin of infestation of all species of pests.
• Carry out investigations in clients’ premises in the event of a serious problem.
• Submit accurate and meaningful reports on infestation, proofing, housekeeping and all other aspects of pest control in a client’s premises.
• Discuss in full with the client the results of all inspections carried out.
• Assess and report on the quality of service found in a client’s premises during an inspection and take immediate action to ensure any faults are found and rectified.
• Estimate the prices of services to be provided by the Company.
