Field Operator Feracon Pest - Fixed Term

We specialize in managing and controlling both animal and plant pests using cutting-edge technology. We are looking for fit and adventurous people to join our growing team in the upper North Island as pest control specialists.

This role involves working in the field and trekking through the bush, so a love for the outdoors and a strong work ethic are essential. If you are passionate about rural pest control or ready to start a physically demanding role, we offer a great culture and a supportive team environment.

This is a 30-hour per week, 6-month fixed-term role with the opportunity to become permanent.

Key Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to carry loads in challenging terrain
• Enjoys the great outdoors of New Zealand
• Good communication skills
• Committed to health and safety
• Positive work attitude and great work ethic

Qualifications & Skills:

• Pest control experience/qualification and knowledge of traps
• Chainsaw, plant or pest management/forestry sector qualifications
• Current and valid New Zealand full driver's licence
• First Aid Certificate
• Firearm Licence and Controlled Substance Licence are an advantage
• LUV and 4WD qualifications are preferable
