A Fumigation Operations Manager oversees specialized pest control operations, ensuring the safe, compliant, and effective application of fumigants in warehouses, silos, shipping containers etc. They lead teams, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance.
We are seeking a results-driven Fumigation Operations Manager to lead our fumigation unit. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth while ensuring operational excellence. You will oversee both the sales development strategy and the technical service team, ensuring that all fumigation projects—ranging from warehousing and silos to shipping containers—are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can balance high-level client relations with hands-on operational management
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
· Strategy Formulation: Develop and execute annual sales plans to expand our client base in sectors such as agriculture, food storage, and logistics etc.
· Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to secure contracts, drive repeat business, and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
· Proposal & Negotiation: Analyze client requirements to prepare competitive and profitable service quotations.
· Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine our service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
2. Service & Operational Excellence:
· Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate the service operations team, optimizing the deployment of personnel, equipment, and chemical resources.
· Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and international standards to prevent risks and maintain service quality.
· Problem-Solving: Serve as the primary escalation point for client complaints or operational incidents, providing swift and effective resolutions.
· Team Development: Train and mentor staff to enhance their technical proficiency in fumigation and their soft skills in client engagement.
3. Financial & Performance Management:
· Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage operational budgets, including chemical inventory and equipment maintenance, ensuring cost-efficiency.
· Performance Reporting: Track sales performance, operational KPIs, and team productivity, providing regular reports to management for continuous improvement.
Working Location: Bangkok
Subordinates:
· Operations (Fumigation Technicians about 10-15 people)
· Sales (Sales Fumigation about 2-4 people)
· Admin
Requirements:
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Agriculture, Science, or a related field.
· Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Managing operational teams, Customer Service, Account Management, or Sales & Business Development.
Core Competencies:
· Leadership & Negotiation: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence clients and motivate team members.
· Problem-Solving: Proven ability to manage crises and make critical decisions under pressure.
· Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of pest control or industrial fumigation operations (Possession of a Hazardous Substance Control License or equivalent is a significant advantage).
· Mobility: Flexibility to travel for client meetings or to oversee operations at various sites.
