Reporting to the HR Director, the person will be responsible for providing cross-functional support to the HR department and acting as a facilitator in personnel management matters across all business lines. As an HR Manager this position will play a critical role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment through effective employee relations strategies and practices.
The HR & People Capabilities Manager will act as a strategic and operational leader to support business objectives, manage labor relations, and accelerate organisational integration in Spain. This role will also oversee and lead sourcing, recruitment, onboarding, and training functions, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Main Tasks: For all Rentokil Companies in Spain (including M&A).
Labor Relations Management:
Manage relationships with RTLs (labor relations representatives), ensuring compliance with local labor laws and collective agreements). Partner with the Employee Relations team.
Lead negotiations and conflict resolution efforts, maintaining a productive and positive work environment.
Provide expert guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, performance management, and policy interpretation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Sourcing & Recruitment Oversight:
Lead the recruitment team to develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
Oversee the recruitment process lifecycle, ensuring timely and effective hiring across all levels.
Delivery brand plan for each employer (Lokimica and Rentokil).
KPI and SLAs management.
Onboarding & Training Leadership:
Excel onboarding process to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the organization.
Develop and oversee training initiatives to enhance employee capabilities and performance.
Other Responsibilities:
Implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Monitor key HR metrics, including recruitment timelines, training effectiveness, and employee engagement.
Drive initiatives to improve retention, workforce planning, and engagement.
Act as a culture ambassador, promoting Rentokil Initial’s values and fostering a high-performance work environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR projects and organizational priorities.
Manage HR budgets for recruitment, onboarding, and training activities effectively.
Provide advice and assistance to managers and employees on HR-related topics such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Work closely with legal advisors to resolve complex employee relations cases, mitigate legal risks, and keep the organization up-to-date with evolving employment laws and regulations.
Oversee agreements and maintain relationships with the RLT´s, ensuring transparent communication and effective representation during the monthly meetings and others.
Assist in integrating HR policies and processes for acquired companies, ensuring consistency with the organization’s standards.
Actively participate in the work environment and employee satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and implementing actions to enhance engagement and productivity.
Support the development and management of compensation plans aligned with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
Assist the HR Director in overseeing HR functions across the organization, including collaboration with teams in third-party countries.
Promote and integrate organizational culture throughout the company, including newly acquired entities, to ensure cultural alignment and continuity.
Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify trends, evaluate processes, and propose improvements.
Ensure compliance and adherence to HR-related legal requirements and internal policies.
Perform additional duties as required to support the HR function and organizational needs.

Education and other qualifications:
Bachelors´s degree in law, psychology, business administration or similar, with training in Labor Relations or HR.
Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or in a similar role.
Strong expertise in labor relations, including union negotiations and compliance.
Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and recruitment management.
Experience in onboarding, training, and employee development programs.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to execute operational plans.
Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations and handling complex employee relations issues.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and make objective decisions.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Previous Professional Experience:
5 years of experience in HR team management and especially in recruitment and HR business partners roles in a Multinational environment.
Specific Technical Knowledge for the Position:
Advance level in office software, specifically in google environment.
Proficiency in HR systems and tools, such as Workday, Smartrectuier, LinkedIn recruiter, and/or similar platforms.
Languages: English: Bilingual
Additional Information: Availability for frequent travel.
