We are looking to hire an HR Manager for Norway, responsible for developing and implementing human resource strategies that align with Rentokil Initial’s business objectives and compliance with local laws. This individual will lead initiatives in talent attraction, retention, and development, driving a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with group HR policies.
Additionally, they will oversee M&A activities, from due diligence to integration, providing key insights to support financial and people-related decisions. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with the European HR Director to align national HR efforts with wider organisational goals, ensuring operational excellence across recruitment, payroll, and employee engagement.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Support M&A activities in Norway, from due diligence to integration.
- Deliver people data and insights to drive business decisions, including cost savings and retention.
- Act as a coach to senior management for effective people leadership.
- Implement performance management and training programs to foster a high-performance culture.
- Oversee operational HR activities, including recruitment, payroll, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with Central Group HR functions such as Talent, L&D, Communications, Reward, and HRIS to align national HR initiatives with group strategies.
- Work closely with other functional areas within Rentokil Initial, including IT, Finance, Legal, and Marketing & Innovation, to ensure seamless business operations.
Must Have
- 4+ years in senior HR roles with generalist and specialist knowledge (e.g., M&A, Reward).
- Strong understanding of labour law, payroll, and social security regulations in Norway.
- Experience with M&A due diligence, integration, and legal harmonisation.
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
- Experience in a B2B service environment.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, with solid MS Office skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with workers' councils.
- Proficiency in additional Nordic or European languages.
- Postgraduate qualifications in HR.
