International Tax Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tax professional looking to take the next step in their international tax career — whether you’re in-house or in practice — and join a multinational FTSE 100 business headquartered in Crawley.

You’ll join our highly respected Group Tax team and report to the Regional Tax Director, supporting international tax planning, compliance and advisory across a diverse portfolio of territories, including Europe, LATAM, Asia, Africa, MENAT and the Pacific region.

If you want to work on high-profile, cross-border projects without the need to commute into London daily, this is a rare opportunity to combine international scope with South East flexibility.

🌍 What you'll be doing

• Support (and sometimes lead) a broad range of international tax projects: group restructuring, financing, capital contributions, dividends, tax audits and more
• Develop a strong understanding of the Africa region's tax landscape, working closely with local teams to ensure compliance and deliver proactive advice
• Provide tax support on M&A deals globally — including due diligence, structuring, SPA review and warranty support
• Play a key role in Pillar 2 compliance, including data collection and application of technical concepts to Rentokil’s global entities
• Contribute to year-end tax reporting across Asia, MENAT and Africa, ensuring accuracy and alignment with IFRS standards
• Manage and drive transfer pricing projects across all regions: group recharges, local documentation, new strategies and intercompany agreements
• Review work from junior team members and contribute to the Group’s master file preparation and maintenance

Requirements:

✅ What we're looking for

Qualifications

• CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA with a strong corporate tax background
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in international tax (in-house or professional services)

Experience & Skills

• Strong knowledge of international tax principles (BEPS, CFCs, transfer pricing, etc.)
• Experience working with multinational group structures
• Familiar with IFRS, tax provisioning, and tax risk management
• Some exposure to M&A tax work, including due diligence and deal structuring
• Strong Excel and data handling skills; comfortable managing large data sets for analysis
• Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex projects to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — to engage stakeholders across regions
