The basics...

• The IT Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring completion of all compliance activities and controls across GIS.
• The role will focus on continuously tracking compliance activities and controls to ensure completion, identifying gaps,and reporting findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborating closely with IT teams, business units, and management to ensure everyone understands and adheres to compliance requirements and they are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• The role will be responsible for preparing content to aid with operating of controls and working closely with control owners to improve the process and templates as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in compliance or other relevant discipline is desirable
• Displays a responsible attitude to following procedures, keeping records, and caring for equipment and other assets.
• Ownership: demonstrates a desire and ability to own tasks and actions and deliver to high levels of quality
• Ability to follow verbal instructions to deliver required outcomes
• Team work - Working co-operatively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify compliance gaps, and develop effective solutions.
• Decision-Making: Making informed decisions based on risks, benefits, and compliance requirements.
• Communication (Written & Verbal): Effectively communicating complex technical and legal information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project Management: managing compliance projects effectively.
• Research and Learning: Actively staying updated on evolving regulations, security threats, and emerging technologies.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance adherence and identify potential issues.
