Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Division: Initial Hygiene
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Location: Naas
Salary: €28,000 - €30,000 DOE paid monthly
Job Overview and Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide marketing support to Initial Hygiene Ireland across a variety of product/category based marketing activities including Product Category Support, Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives, Marketing Communication and Budgetary control.
Building key relationships within the business will be vital for any successful individual in this role. The role is based at our Head-Office in Naas,
Requirements:
Key Deliverables
Marketing Communication:
- Support the business with product specific ad-hoc graphic design tasks and liase with agencies where appropriate
- Develop compelling product specific support material for the Sales Teams
- Support the Marketing Team with analysis as and when required
- Manage the Marketing section on Sales Library , ensuring material is up to date and make structural changes as required, develop creatively as much as possible
- Become a key advocate of Google + and other Google Developments
- Work with Head of Marketing to ensure that all support material is fully up to date
- Create and share internal comms such as emails and newsletters
Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives:
- Develop, implement and measure our product specific campaigns across our sales channels
- Support Head of Marketing with the creation and launch of tactical actions to support the growth of the revenue and retention of our customer base
- Closely monitor competitor activity
- Support the Product and Marketing Managers in development of Route 1 training material and develop Vending Route 1 material as appropriate including running at least part of that session
- Development, implement product specific sales drives including incentives and other product specific campaigns that are not part of customer communications
Product Category Management and Support
- Responsibility for all product Marketing
- Support the Head of Marketing in the running of their Categories including maintaining price lists, competitor analysis, setting up new product codes etc
- Provide additional analytical support as required
- Provide Key Account Support in means of presentations, tailor made marketing collateral
- Share internal league tables e.g. incentives , sales reports, leads updates
Reporting/Budgetary Control
- Request POS for marketing activities as required
- Completion of monthly reporting decks for KPIs and monthly management meeting
Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working within a large business/marketing department
- Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite/Microsoft office
- Ability to work successfully in a team, supporting remote colleagues with campaigns and marketing support tools
- Good analytical skills coupled with a professional and confident approach
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- With excellent organisation skills coupled with the ability to work with own initiative and to work to deadlines
- Highly literate with an eye for design/creativity , excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Full driving licence preferable but not essential
- Basic to intermediate knowledge or willingness to learn CANVA and BEEPRO (basic design packages) to be able to make basic edits to brochures
Qualifications:
- This role would suit either a recent Graduate or , someone with 2 years or more marketing or general office experience
