Use your engaging leadership style to lead a team of service technicians to deliver high-quality service to our growing portfolio of loyal clients, on time and every time.
Rentokil Initial has a great opportunity for an Operations Manager to join and lead our Ambius Operations Team in the Lower North Island. You will use your collaborative and engaging leadership style to take on the responsibility to coach, mentor and lead a team of service professionals to consistently deliver a high quality of service to our customers.
This is a highly customer-focused role and is ideally suited for someone with the desire and motivation to succeed and grow with the Rentokil Initial business.
You will be based out of our Wellington branch, however regular travel will be required to the other branches including Palmerston North, New Plymouth and Napier.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Develop and implement an annual regional operational strategic plan to achieve a highly competitive and cost effective service delivery across the region
- Drive the divisional strategies to ensure the highest standards of customer service are delivered at all times by the regional operations team
- Work within the frameworks and guidelines provided by the Company/Division to maintain "best practice"
- Develop and enhance the capability of the frontline leadership and the operations team to meet service targets.
- Ensure all service staff are trained to identify customer needs and convey the benefits of our service through active face-to-face customer communication
- Support regional sales disciplines and capabilities through generation of sales leads from existing customers and providing technical and operational assistance
- Monitor and review service productivity rates, seek improvement and continually improve productivity through quality audits
- Review monthly service results against forecasts to ensure maximum performance is achieved and maintained
- Proactively manage and control work place injuries and incidents to RI policy and best practice and drive service SHE compliance to agreed targeted levels
The successful candidate will have:
- 5 or more years' experience in a management role with a services or operations background
- The ability to accommodate regular travel within the region as required
- The drive to lead by example to set a high standard of customer service
- Experience in implementing Health & Safety resolution and regular reporting to senior teams
- Strong communication and demonstrate sound commercial acumen and experience.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and background checks.
