Payable Accountant

PURPOSE:

• Manage accounting functions related to Inventory and Fixed Asset
• Development, implementation and maintenance of asset management, inventory management process and database

DUTIES:

1.     In charge of accounting functions related to Payment Journal, Inventory & Fixed Asset (75%)

Perform the day to day processing of:

• Accountability of recording detailed information from invoices and supporting docs into NAV with correct, appropriate general ledger, dimension account number.
• Recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible & intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, transference, disposition of Fixed Asset.
• Run NAV vendor payment batch and settle payment to vendor on HSBCnet.
• Settle payment of employee claim and other payment voucher on HSBCnet.
• Clarify and entry monthly cost accrual, reversal.
• Manage original hardcopy of payment, inventory and FA documents and avoid the case of loss or missing documents.
• Assign tag numbers to fixed assets
• Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets
• Perform stock take on a quarterly basic with stockkeeper

2.     Stock apps (15%)

• Support system implement and provide other support as necessary
• Coordinate with stockkeeper to keep track of data transferred from Stock apps to NAV and reconcile a weekly basic.

3.     Other requested tasks ( 10% work load)

• Build up, monitor & develop the company’s culture, standards by yourself and your team with professional image
• Other tasks related to that position required

Requirements:

1.     Education & Training requirements

• Graduated from College/University of Finance/Accounting

2.     Experience requirements

• At least 1 working year with the same position.       

3.     Required Skills & Technique

• Ability to use basic English (reading, oral, writing)
• Basic computer skill (MS office)
• Ability to work independently and team work
• Ability to work under high pressure
