Camberley - UK based

Hybrid working - 1 day of your choice per week in the office

Salary - £25,000 per annum and bonus opportunities

In the UK we have 10 businesses covering a range of business services from Pest Control, Washroom hygiene, Specialist cleaning, interior plants through to property preservations & dental & clinical waste management.

We are currently recruiting for an Ireland Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team in Camberley.

The main purpose for the role is to be the key liaison point with the Ireland payroll provider and Irish business management.

You will report to the UK Payroll Manager and the key activities will include but will not be limited to:

Monthly Payroll

• Collect and collate all variable payment summaries (overtime, commissions, bonuses and personal expenses) for submission to payroll provider
• Deal with advance payments and deductions
• Develop and maintain appropriate calculation models for incentives and commissions
• Communicate key timelines with the businesses and ensure submissions are submitted in line with these deadlines
• Ensure all appropriate approvals are captured and recorded
• Look for opportunities to streamline and speed up the payroll process whilst maintaining the highest levels of accuracy
• Deal with any payroll queries, maintain the payroll inbox
• Upload payroll submissions to payroll provider, meeting all payroll deadlines
• Update BIK records quarterly for staff with company cars
• Assist the completion of payroll related staff forms in conjunction with HR eg. Salary certificates
• Run and review standard payroll and headcount reports
• Perform integrity checks on the quality of payroll data in particular:
  • New starters correctly coded
  • Check that changes to employee details are correctly reflected
  • Review for errors in processing
  • Ensure payroll reports approved before payment

Ad-Hoc

• Deliver all ad-hoc assignments as they arise.
• Support the wider Ireland HR team and the UK Financial Controller as needed

Requirements:

To be considered for the Payroll Administrator position you will ideally have the following:

• Attention to detail
• Organisational skills
• Great communication skills both written and verbal
• Solid spreadsheet skills (Excel, Google sheets, etc)
• Experience in Payroll processing or general finance would be a plus but not essential

Whilst our Finance team come from a range of different backgrounds, we find most of our Administrators have previously worked as Payroll Specialists, Finance Administrators, Customer Service Administrators, Administrators, Payroll Assistants or have experience within a Finance Department.
