Regional Marketing & Innovations Manager - Asia (Internal Candidates only)

The Regional Marketing & Innovations Manager - Asia, based in Malaysia, Indonesia, or Thailand and reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing - Asia, owns innovation performance across the region's pest control and hygiene categories. Operating within the Rentokil Initial Asia context, this role collaborates closely with country sales and marketing teams, regional support functions, and global stakeholders to drive profitable organic revenue growth, margin improvement, and long-term customer retention. 

In addition, this role will lead the commercialisation and performance lifecycle of our innovations across Asia, ensuring our offers solve genuine customer problems and inspire our sales and service colleagues.

Key Resposibilities:

1. Identifying Customer Needs: Captures customer needs through market research and collaborates with the M&I team to launch innovations that solve genuine operational challenges.
2. Understanding the Market: Analyses market trends, competitor strategies, gap opportunities, and consumer behaviour across Asia to identify where Rentokil Initial can win and differentiate.
3. Creating the Proposition: Translates customer and market insights into commercially strong, relevant, and differentiated value propositions in close partnership with the M&I Category Team.
4. Creating the Hype: Equips sales and service colleagues through Route 1s with the product knowledge, toolkits, messaging, and confidence needed to champion and sell our solutions.
5. Creating the Demand: Builds integrated marketing campaigns, digital activity, content, and sales support collateral to drive brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and grow pipeline opportunities.
6. Supporting Sales Operations: Assists sales colleagues in addressing complex customer queries, proving solution value, and overcoming objections to successfully close sales.
7. Tracking Performance: Monitors internal performance metrics—including enquiries, conversion rates, sales volume, customer feedback, and portfolio retention—to identify successes and corrective action areas.
8. Refining the Offer: Continuously iterates messaging, targeting, sales tools, and customer journeys alongside the M&I Category Team to ensure offers remain fresh, effective, and competitive throughout their lifecycle.
9. Health & Safety Leadership: Owns personal health and safety, ensures full adherence to Rentokil Initial safety standards, and protects the well-being of colleagues affected by daily work activities.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications: Requires an essential Diploma in Business (or related discipline) and strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. A background or qualification in Brand/Category Marketing, Entomology, Food Science, Advertising, or Food Tech is preferred.

Experience: Candidates should possess 5–8 years of experience in marketing (ideally within Brand or Category Marketing), alongside a comprehensive understanding of Rentokil Initial's pest control and hygiene portfolios. Demonstrating a strong history of driving innovation adoption and high-level success in promoting core solutions and key innovations is essential. Excellent interpersonal abilities and flexibility to accommodate multi-timezone collaboration and travel are required. Experience with project management, facilitation, and group training is highly preferred.
