Rentokil Initial’s Europe region is entering a growth phase having gone through a period of restructuring. There is ongoing focus on driving profitable organic growth in all categories and countries in the region, and there is a defined Commercial Strategy in each market that supports this focus. The need to appoint an experienced Sales expert has been identified to support the development of the regional sales effectiveness agenda and to continue to drive the commercial strategies defined locally.
Role Purpose
- Develop and deliver the Sales strategy for the European region, identifying trends in selling methods and Rentokil Initial’s future model.
- Improve the sales productivity performance of the country teams, with a primary focus on Pest Control and Hygiene businesses.
- Develop and deliver a Regional sales excellence agenda that will deliver competitive advantage and the business sales objectives.
- Be accountable for the delivery of the Innovation sales targets in the Pest Control and Hygiene categories.
Key Responsibilities include
- Own the annual planning process relating to the delivery of improved sales performance and productivity.
- Have a longer term view of our future sales model, and ensure annual plans align with future direction.
- Identify and share best practice in sales management and sales operations between European countries, and also looking to our global businesses for examples.
- Lead the drive to enhance the digitalisation of the sales teams and channels.
- Agree and support the delivery of Innovation sales across the region.
- Own and drive the European Sales Leadership Forum with the goal of engaging with the country sales leaders and getting alignment to activity improvement plans, processes and systems.
- Support Country management teams to achieve their sales and revenue annual objectives.
- Provide hands-on support to country leaders and ensure sales effectiveness by reviewing and challenging the sales performance of the markets.
- Support the European Executive Team in delivering relevant strategic sales changes across the region.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Extensive, senior level experience in strategic Sales leadership
- Experience and ability to influence senior managers
- Demonstrated success in sales performance
- Advanced business and financial acumen needed.
- Strong credibility as an true expert in Sales Management
- Strong analytical abilities and experience in using Google and Microsoft software packages.
- Ability to work as part of a regional and culturally diverse team in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to influence people at all levels and excellent communications skills.
- Must speak fluent English and at least one European language.

This role is a hybrid role and may be based at any of our Europe Region Head Office locations. Benefits and package will be dependent on location.
