Sanitact Cleaner

As a Sanitact Cleaner at Rentokil Initial, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our clients and their employees. Your responsibilities will include executing effective cleaning and sanitization processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and to enhance the overall hygiene standards of the premises.

Your role is essential in promoting the health and well-being of everyone who uses the facilities, providing peace of mind through your diligent work.

Key duties and responsibilities 

• Rinse units with fresh water and place them and their lids in disinfectant tanks.
• Scrub units and wash lids/traps with designated cleaning liquids, ensuring no scratches.
• Drain units upside down and refer damaged parts to the Supervisor.
• Ensure flaps/traps move freely; if not, set aside for repairs.
• Replace units with clean lids, filling each with 2 litres of water and 1 Sanitact sachet.
• Update instruction labels as needed and return units to designated areas.
• Assist delivery staff in the afternoon and check the stock of cleaning supplies weekly to ensure sufficient amounts for cleaning duties.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role or familiarity with sanitation practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in cleaning will be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
