The Scheduler is a key strategic position focused on the planning and scheduling of work.  They will be responsible for routing, creating, publishing and maintaining schedules for all specialists in support of excellent customer service, financial efficiency and a colleague’s work life balance.

Duties include:

  • Daily routing and scheduling of work orders by matching client requirements with Specialist certifications to ensure proper assignment.
  • Organize Specialists’ schedules within specific guidelines taking available time and client parameters into account.
  • Monitor and ensure assessments are scheduled, and completed within round dates and spread evenly throughout the established rounds, through assist trips as necessary
  • Provide updates to schedule changes and possible impact to scheduled commitments
  • Use Steritech's People First approach when assisting Specialists with schedule changes and client requests to minimize disruptions and prevent down time.
  • Work with District Managers and Specialists to learn variables for particular areas, specialists and clients that affect efficient scheduling; incorporate into advance scheduling and subsequent adjustments.
  • Interact with District Managers, Operations Managers, Specialists and Support Services to obtain information needed to facilitate work planning, scheduling prioritization, resolution of technical issues, incorporating changes and identification of other special requirements
  • Provide District/Operations Managers with route and client certification recommendations to ensure Specialists are fully utilized and productive
  • Alter schedules as needed to accomplish changing goals and unexpected tasks.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of training assignments.
  • Utilize various systems to accomplish job duties.  Implement and maintain scheduling software to ensure return on investment and maximize Specialists efficiency.
  • Provide status updates and other reporting as directed.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 5 years of scheduling/dispatching/logistics experience in route based industries 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Post secondary education in Business Administration or related field is an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS office Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc, Google Suites 
  • Experience in Salesforce Field Service is an asset
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screen. 
  • Have excellent listening and communication skills. 
  • Bilingual in French and English is asset
  • Excellent organization and time management skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in full time Monday to Friday

Number of vacancies: 3 

Salary Range: $40,000 to $45,000/year

Le planificateur est un poste stratégique clé axé sur la planification et l'organisation du travail.  Il sera chargé de l'acheminement, de la création, de la publication et de la mise à jour des plannings de tous les spécialistes afin de garantir un excellent service client, une efficacité financière et un équilibre entre vie professionnelle et vie privée des collègues.

Ses tâches comprennent :

  • L'acheminement et la planification quotidiens des bons de travail en faisant correspondre les exigences des clients avec les certifications des spécialistes afin de garantir une affectation appropriée.
  • L'organisation des plannings des spécialistes selon des directives spécifiques en tenant compte du temps disponible et des paramètres des clients.
  • Surveiller et s'assurer que les évaluations sont planifiées et effectuées dans les délais impartis et réparties uniformément tout au long des cycles établis, en assistant les déplacements si nécessaire.
  • Fournir des mises à jour sur les changements d'horaire et l'impact possible sur les engagements prévus.
  • Utiliser l'approche « les gens d'abord » de Steritech pour aider les spécialistes à gérer les changements d'horaire et les demandes des clients afin de minimiser les perturbations et d'éviter les temps d'arrêt.
  • Travailler avec les directeurs de district et les spécialistes pour connaître les variables qui affectent l'efficacité de la planification pour des zones, des spécialistes et des clients particuliers ; les intégrer dans la planification préalable et les ajustements ultérieurs.
  • Interagir avec les responsables de district, les responsables des opérations, les spécialistes et les services de support pour obtenir les informations nécessaires à la planification du travail, à la priorisation des plannings, à la résolution des problèmes techniques, à l'intégration des changements et à l'identification d'autres besoins spécifiques.
  • Fournir aux responsables de district/opérations des recommandations de routes et de certification des clients afin de garantir que les spécialistes sont pleinement utilisés et productifs.
  • Modifier les plannings si nécessaire pour atteindre des objectifs changeants et accomplir des tâches imprévues.
  • Aider à la planification et à la coordination des missions de formation.
  • Utiliser divers systèmes pour accomplir les tâches. Mettre en œuvre et maintenir un logiciel de planification pour assurer le retour sur investissement et maximiser l'efficacité des spécialistes.
  • Fournir des mises à jour de statut et d'autres rapports selon les directives.

Qualifications 

  • 1 à 5 ans d'expérience en planification/répartition/logistique dans des industries basées sur les itinéraires. 
  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent.
  • Une formation postsecondaire en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe est un atout.
  • Maîtrise de MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc., Google Suites. 
  • Expérience dans le service sur le terrain Salesforce est un atout
  • Doit réussir une vérification des antécédents préalable à l'emploi. 
  • Excellentes capacités d'écoute et de communication. 
  • Bilinguisme français et anglais est un atout
  • Excellentes capacités d'organisation et de gestion du temps. 
  • Grande attention aux détails et volonté d'apprendre.
  • Capacité à travailler à temps plein du lundi au vendredi
