POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:
The Incumbent is responsible for providing brand marketing, creative, content and social media management support along with expanding the company’s digital footprint and driving more value through online content for the pest control services vertical of Rentokil PCI, India.
The person will report to the Assistant General Manager - Marketing. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.
The responsibilities can be broadly divided into 4 buckets:
1. Brand Management & Creative strategy:
- The brand mandate would include development and management of marketing campaigns – creatives and communication for the services & products division and overall corporate brand of Rentokil PCI.
- This would include any activity pertaining to amplifying the brand in internal and external mediums for the subcontinent regions as per requirement.
- The candidate needs to have thorough knowledge and relevant experience in developing marketing campaigns, creative and collaterals, copywriting and content marketing strategy along with understanding of brand marketing.
- S/he should be well versed with dealing with Creative agencies, putting together creative briefs, managing, tracking and updating agency job lists and proactive content planning for the brands.
- Coordinating with the development and implementation of a content calendar for social platforms
- Assisting with the content development for E-commerce channels for Rentokil pest control services & products
- Content development of EDMs, websites, blogs and social media. and other such content
- Managing all social media handles to improve followers and engagement via different campaigns.
2. Marketing Campaign development, management & evaluation:
- The incumbent would need to have demonstrated proven capabilities in creating and managing marketing campaigns targeted at both B2B and B2C segments.
- The candidate should have handled the execution aspects of medium to large scale ATL, BTL, offline and digital campaigns, online & offline content for pest control services that can be amplified on relevant platforms.
- S/he would need to work closely with the Content team and the Digital Marketing lead to develop and execute campaigns across the Marketing funnel.
- As part of this mandate, the incumbent needs to have proven agency / vendor management experience to be able to deal with Digital Marketing agencies, Media agencies, Influencer agencies, PR agencies etc.
- Working in collaboration with the branch teams to provide the necessary Marketing support from the brand’s perspective.
- Working closely with Product marketing manager to support marketing campaigns, analysis, presentations and overall development of marketing creatives and communications.
- Working closely with the procurement and operations teams under to successfully land product innovations
3. Innovations:
- To assist the marketing team for services in landing the services innovation pipeline by effectively collaborating with multi-functional team members - Operations, Procurement, Sales Training, Field sales, Key accounts etc.
- This would entail assisting in project management to ensure that all Service & Products innovations are achieved and tracked in an organized manner.
- On the Marketing front, the candidate should have demonstrated experience in proposition development for new launches.
- Development of Go-To-Market strategies for new innovations as well as existing service & products lines, develop strategies for on-ground events, exhibitions etc. in alliance with local branch teams
- Working collaboratively with products sales division team to track innovation success
- Maintaining post evals and thorough update on Innovation sales and marketing activities
4. Content management:
- Content and Performance Management
- Ownership of website, blog, and social media performance metrics (traffic, conversions, engagement, etc.)
- Development and management of content calendars for websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
- Content Creation and Marketing
- Crafting ad copies for online (e.g., Google Ads) and offline campaigns.
- Developing content marketing strategies to promote innovations and enhance brand visibility across digital and offline platforms.
- SEO, Research, and Collaboration
- Collaborating with agencies to enhance SEO performance and ensuring content accuracy through editing and proofreading.
- Conducting research on industry trends to inform high-quality content creation.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Extraordinary conceptualization skill, a creative mindset, written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in content writing & creative development along with basic knowledge of marketing concepts
- Excellent Presentation & analytical skills
- Work with cross-functional teams for collecting technical information regarding our products and services and convert them into meaningful customer-centric content formats
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts - SEO, E-commerce, Website content
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multi-functional teams & manage multiple priorities, agency and vendor management
- Some experience in Email creation on systems like MailChimp, iContact, Get Response etc., website UX design, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and Google Adwords will be an added advantage, but not necessary.
- Dedicated, go-getter and eager to learn and grow
Requirements:
EDUCATIONAL / OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing or any other related field.
- An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position.
- Overall experience of at least 4-6 years in a product or brand marketing role which includes content, digital, creative, marketing and brand promotions
