Senior End User Computing Analyst

As a Senior End User Computing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation's estate of End-User Devices (Android, iOS, Windows, etc) remains up-to-date, secure and following best-practice. You will work closely with Regional IT Teams, stakeholders and colleagues at Rentokil to offer advice and help implement solutions. Taking ownership of several services and managing the stakeholders of those services.

You will help Junior and Analyst members of the team, upskilling them and ensuring end-user computing technologies, applications and services are operating optimally and that any incidents are resolved in a timely manner.

As a Senior End User Computing Analyst you will regularly be expected to attend meetings and workshops, and expected to collaborate with relevant teams & vendors and report back to the team the content and decisions of the meetings/workshops, this may also include some decision making. Presentation during these meetings will be required on a semi-regular basis.

You will be expected to design and implement end-user computing solutions that align with business requirements, security standards, and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain end-user computing standards, policies, and procedures, including operating system images, configuration management, patch management, and security settings.

The successful candidate will possess strong presentation skills and be confident at both presenting and sharing their screen to demonstrate information and technical expertise.

Main Tasks:

1) Assist in the design and implementation of end-user computing solutions using tools such as Workspace ONE, that meet the needs of the organisation.

2) Assist in managing and maintaining end-user computing technologies, applications, and services using the end user computing toolset.

3) Provide technical support to colleagues and teams regarding high priority and broader issues related to end-user computing technologies, applications, and services.

4) Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure that end-users have access to the necessary technologies and applications and training for the tools the team supports.

5) Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies related to end-user computing, including tools such as Workspace ONE.

6) Manage the End User Computing teams incident queue, assist where possible and manage stakeholders on higher priority incidents

Requirements:

1) 2+ years experience in a Desktop Support or similar role

2) Strong experience with MDM tools and other end user computing tools. Ideally Workspace ONE, Bomgar, MDT/PSD

3) Strong experience with Mobile management, Android Enterprise preferred

4) Good understanding of the key elements of computing principles e.g DHCP, DNS, Firewalls, servers

Able to travel to our Ebony House Office in Dudley, UK on a semi-regular basis
