Initial Medical provide innovative and environmentally responsible clinical waste solutions to large and small organisations across a range of business sectors including Doctors, Dentists, Funeral homes, schools, hospitality and leisure, construction, retail, and transport.

As a Service Support Officer based in our Okehampton Branch you will be part of a team having overall control and responsibility for the daily function of the service routes of the Okehampton branch. Your key relationships will be with the Branch Manager, Service Manager and Service Supervisor.

The main responsibilities and duties of this role will include the following:

• Planning daily service routes
• Control and management of service documentation
• Ensuring service routes are completed as required
• High Volume data entry using our in house systems
• Dealing with customer enquiries by phone and email
• Production of monthly and quarterly management data

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess previous administrative experience with good IT skills and be a proficient user of Microsoft Word and Excel with a high degree of accuracy. You must be able to work on your own initiative, but also be a good team player and have the ability to work well under pressure.

You will also have a professional and confident telephone manner with a strong ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with the team, internal and external customers. Previous experience in transport or logistics would be an advantage.
