Salary: Basic salary starting at £29,945 with OTE earnings of £35,000

What will you be doing?

• Managing large dry rot / waterproofing jobs being responsible for management of site labour, site quality and all on site administration such as material purchase / collection or delivery. 
• Install cavity drainage membrane systems (Type C Waterproofing Systems). incorporating drainage channels, basement pumps and wall and floor membranes. 
• Carry out timber preservation work such as floor replacements, lintel and beam replacement in concrete and steel, wall and ceiling framing and plasterboard sheeting, finishing joinery and all general joinery works.
• Chemical treatments for rising damp, timber repairs, woodworm infestation etc.
• Carry out specialist timber preservation work such as resin repairs to beam ends etc.
• Carry out structural defect repairs, such as wall tie installation and crack-stitching.

Requirements:

You must have at more than one of the following areas of expertise:

• Experience working as a Basement / Waterproofing Technician within the building, construction or property industry.
• Experience working with Structural Repairs within the Property Preservation, building or construction industry
• Advanced joiner who is experienced in all aspects of carpentry and joinery.

On top of this you must have:

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points
• To hold a valid CSCS Card
• A can-do attitude and the ability to use your own initiative
• Ability to manage other technicians to ensure productivity and quality levels on site.
• Great communication and customer service skills with a keen, enthusiastic and friendly approach
