Specialist Technician Role - Waterproofing Focus

You will be a vital part of our team, specialising in delivering high-quality waterproofing solutions for both domestic and commercial clients. As a Waterproofing Specialist Technician, your primary focus will be on Basement and Structural waterproofing and Masonry stabilisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing internal waterproofing systems, including cavity drain membranes, sump and pump systems, and associated drainage.
• Applying external waterproofing solutions, such as liquid-applied membranes, cementitious coatings, and other specialist waterproofing products to foundations and walls.
• Installing and maintaining drainage systems to manage groundwater and surface water effectively.
• Removal of wall coatings including plaster etc.
• Carrying out preservation works on site which could include stripping and replacing timber
  floors, door frames, architraves and windows.
• Offering valuable advice to customers and providing a high level of service.
• Maintaining a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Adhering strictly to all risk assessments and health & safety measures on every site.
• Ensuring all work areas are left clean and tidy upon completion of the job.
• Completing other related tasks within the branch as required, which may include assisting with damp proofing related tasks where your expertise overlaps and/or undertaking masonry stabilisation works where required as part of a comprehensive solution. 

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points

• Previous experience within a similar role is required
• Competent in waterproofing systems installation
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
• It would be advantageous for you to hold a construction or trades-based qualification and CSCS card
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
