Wise Property Care Specialist Technician

We are currently seeking a Specialist Technician to join our dedicated team at the Barrhead branch, covering Scotland, nationwide for Wise Property Care. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and solving unique customer problems in person, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Specialist Technician Role - Waterproofing Focus
You will be a vital part of our team, specialising in delivering high-quality waterproofing solutions for both domestic and commercial clients. As a Waterproofing Specialist Technician, your primary focus will be on Basement and Structural waterproofing and Masonry stabilisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing internal waterproofing systems, including cavity drain membranes, sump and pump systems, and associated drainage.
- Applying external waterproofing solutions, such as liquid-applied membranes, cementitious coatings, and other specialist waterproofing products to foundations and walls.
- Installing and maintaining drainage systems to manage groundwater and surface water effectively.
- Removal of wall coatings including plaster etc.
- Carrying out preservation works on site which could include stripping and replacing timber
floors, door frames, architraves and windows. - Offering valuable advice to customers and providing a high level of service.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adhering strictly to all risk assessments and health & safety measures on every site.
- Ensuring all work areas are left clean and tidy upon completion of the job.
- Completing other related tasks within the branch as required, which may include assisting with damp proofing related tasks where your expertise overlaps and/or undertaking masonry stabilisation works where required as part of a comprehensive solution.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
- Previous experience within a similar role is required
- Competent in waterproofing systems installation
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
- It would be advantageous for you to hold a construction or trades-based qualification and CSCS card
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
