🔍 Role Overview

As a Software Tester / Senior Software Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications. You will design and execute test strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help drive continuous improvement across all QA practices.

🎯 About the Role

• Ensure quality, functionality, and performance of software through test planning and execution.
• Identify and report defects while working closely with developers to resolve them.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Report directly to the Assistant General Manager.

🛠 Job Responsibilities

● Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements.
● Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.
● Perform functional, usability, regression, and performance testing.
● Identify, document, and prioritise defects.
● Verify and validate bug fixes with developers.
● Maintain comprehensive bug reports and status updates.
● Participate in design and requirement review meetings.
● Stay updated on testing tools, trends, and best practices.
● Contribute to improvements in QA processes and automation strategies.

• Strong communication skills in English are mandatory.
• Candidates must demonstrate job stability in current & past roles.
• Mumbai-based candidates only.
• Preference for candidates residing on the Western Line.

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

● Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are advantageous

● Experience with test management tools and version control systems is a plus

● Familiarity with Agile and iterative development methodologies

● Proficient in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts

● Knowledge of various testing types (functional, regression, usability, etc.)

● Familiarity with testing tools and platforms

● Basic understanding of programming concepts and databases
