Role Overview:

We are currently looking for a Business Operations Application Support (IT) professional to provide both technical and functional support for business-critical applications.

The primary responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with internal IT teams, and ensuring optimal application performance to support day-to-day business operations.

Please note, this role does not involve any development work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1 support for business applications, resolving user issues and system errors.
  
• Monitor application performance, uptime, and availability, ensuring minimal disruptions.
  
• Analyze and troubleshoot system-related problems, escalating to development teams when necessary.
  
• Assist in configuration, updates, and maintenance of business applications.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, and vendors) to resolve application-related concerns.
  
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
  
• Support user training and onboarding for new applications or system updates.
  
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.

• The person will report to the Manager - Application Support. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Required Skills & Qualifications:
  
• Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BSC-IT
• Interim Excel knowledge (Pivot table, VLOOKUP, Import Range, Functions), Google sheets
• Must have SQL, MySQL knowledge.
• Basic understanding of Bash scripting or hands-on experience in Bash scripting.
• Experience: 0 to 1 year of work experience only.
