Position: Software Tester
Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years in software testing roles.

• Candidates with strong English communication skills will be preferred, especially those currently based in Western line of Mumbai.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester is required.
• We are looking for immediate joiners or those with a short notice period.
• Be prepared for a technical assessment.

About the Role:

As an Application Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, conduct various tests, and contribute to the overall improvement of our application's user experience.

Job Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with the development team to comprehend project requirements and objectives.

● Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.

● Perform functional, usability, regression, and performance testing on software applications.

● Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and inconsistencies.

● Work alongside developers to troubleshoot and verify bug fixes.

● Create clear and concise bug reports and status reports.

● Participate in design and requirement review meetings to provide testing insights.

● Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application testing.

● Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and strategies.

Key Result Areas:

● Thorough testing of applications to ensure reliability and quality.

● Effective communication of issues and resolutions with the development team.

● Timely identification and reporting of software defects.

● Improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

● Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

● Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) would be advantageous.

● Experience with test management tools and version control systems is a plus.

● Basic understanding of programming concepts and databases is beneficial.
