Warehouse Manager / Assistant Manager (SU5 Shah Alam)

As our Warehouse Manager / Assistant Manager, you aren't just "moving boxes." You are the backbone of our service operations. You will ensure our technicians have exactly what they need, when they need it, to keep our customers safe. From layout optimization to leading a high-performing team, you will own the efficiency of our warehouse.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee all receipt, storage, and dispatch activities, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with Rentokil’s global standards.
• Inventory Integrity: Achieve zero stock variance. Implement strict FIFO/LIFO principles and manage the "Non-Conformance Report" (NCR) process to maintain quality control.
• Strategic Planning: Optimize space layout to maximize capacity, manage demand forecasting, and initiate stock ordering to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and upskill the warehouse team. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of teamwork, safety (SHE), and accountability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key bridge between Procurement, Service, and Commercial teams to coordinate order fulfilment and resolve supply issues.
• Data & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records for audits and utilize data-driven insights to improve inventory turnover and reduce waste.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 4–5 years of proven track record in warehouse management.
• Mindset: Analytical, data-driven, and proactive in solving "shortage" issues before they affect operations.
• Leadership: A strong coach who can manage daily activities while maintaining a high-level view of KPIs.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computer systems (WMS/ERP) and inventory software.

• Excellent problem solving , multi-tasking & planning skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve & meet service KPI
• Ability to think on your feet to coach team with service and customer focused solutions
• Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
• A strong track record of reducing stock losses and improving accuracy
