Graphic & Digital Designer

Rentokil Initial (Pacific Region) is hiring a graphic designer to join our awesome team in Sydney. This is a super cool opportunity to flex your graphic design expertise across multiple brands and get amongst it with a broad range of stakeholders from across our business. This is a ‘shared service’ role servicing the design needs across Rentokil, Initial and Ambius brands as well as providing creative support for corporate communications. You will join a dynamic, diverse and incredibly friendly marketing team based out of our head office in Sydney and enjoy 3 days working from home, 2 days in the office. The role:

In this role you will report to the Marketing Director and support our Marketing Managers and Digital Team. You will be the brand champion for our three distinctive business units: Rentokil (Pest) Initial (Hygiene) and Ambius (Plants) across The Pacific region (AU, NZ and Fiji). The Graphic & Digital designer will also support the internal comms strategy with the creation of an internal portfolio of templates suited to HR / Corporate & Health & Safety communications.

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a cross functional, busy environment that produces a high output of quality creative across all three brand categories as well as corporate creative and will be responsible for creating visual resources across a wide variety of mediums, including email, digital (website, socials, digital advertising channels), print, & social media.

Salary package: 95K + super

The main responsibilities of this role are to:

• Design of new artwork as per brand guidelines across on and offline medias & modification of corporate collateral to suit local market requirements across 3 brands - Rentokil (Pest), Initial (Hygiene) and Ambius (Plantscaping) as well as creation of corporate comms (corporate, SHE (health & safety) and HR)
• Leverage Hubspot CRM / Magnolia CMS to design landing pages and creative for our websites
• Build a sales toolkit for customer facing purposes including presentation, quote templates, suited to each of our 3 business categories
• Responsible for the execution of all graphic design requirements (on and offline, internal and external comms using tools including print, video, digital and animation)
• Play a key role in the implementation of the company’s internal communication strategy to drive employee engagement and brand advocacy, including our community outreach by developing internal comms tools worthy of the RI corporate standard
• Act as a brand ambassador and brand guardian to ensure everyone adheres to the company brand guidelines

The requirements:

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Degree or Relevant Qualification across the design spectrum
• High level of practical experience across the main GD tools, Adobe Suite ( Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign
• Videography experience a distinct advantage
• Ability to think outside the box, intuitively interpret briefs across 3 very different sets of brand guidelines
• Demonstrable portfolio of works across all spectrums of design including print digital video animation
• Experience working creatively within CRM platforms (Hubspot preferred) Experience working within a CMS (Magento / Drupal / Wordpress or similar)
• Exposure and experience to design of advertising & Direct Marketing creative (Digitally & Print)
• Strong creative mindset
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills - camaraderie is an incredibly important aspect of the RI Marketing team culture
