What do our Inside Sales Representative’s do?
The primary purpose of this role is to sell and upsell our Pest Management Services and Products to residential prospects and current clientele professionally, profitably and ethically by executing the company designed sales process. The role of the Outbound Sales Representative for Rentokil North America Pest Control is to meet or exceed Baseline Sales Targets, meets or exceeds KPIs while maintaining a customer-focused service. New business revenue will come from the following sources:
Primary or Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage outbound daily sales calls expectations.
- Consistently maintain a 35% or better closing rate and convert customer call-ins to 52% or better into our Year Round Protection Plan.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly Base Line Sales Target.
- Clearly identify and execute the Inside Sales 7 Step Sales Approach.
- Follow up on all Proposed/Proposed/Open Orders and Sold/Proposed within 48 hours.
- Re-solicitation/calls to convert single purchase customers into Year Round Protection Plan.
- Effectively Execute Residential Campaigns for both new and existing customers.
- Call volume standards are 12-15 Calls per Hour, 4-5 Contacts per Hour and 1-2 Appointments scheduled per Hour.
- Multi-tasking skills are essential.

- Read, write and comprehend written and spoken English to communicate effectively and professionally at all times.
- Possess a strong familiarity with the call center environment.
- Use active listening skills and empathy when interacting with others.
- Apply excellent interpersonal skills.
- Possess service orientation with a desire to make a positive impact on all customers and colleagues.
- Successfully work in a team environment.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Be self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2007 or later, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Have knowledge of Google Suite, especially Google Drive and associated programs frequently used at Rentokil North America.
What do you need?
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
- 0-1 years of Sales experience and Call Center experience required
Preferred
- Must pass pre-employment background screen.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle record search.
