What does our Integration Accounting Managers do?

Reporting to the Finance Integration Director, the Integration Accounting Manager is a leader who will support the strategic and day to day effective integration plan for all significant RNA acquisitions' transactional processes. This leader will represent the Rentokil North America Accounting organization through all phases of the acquisition integration process. The Integration Accounting Manager must be extremely organized, highly motivated, and able to handle multiple tasks while effectively and efficiently maintaining a professional manner. Must exercise good judgement, positively influence others and be a collaborative team member, building relationships with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities and essential job functions of the Integration Accounting Manager include but are not limited to the following:

• Lead activities for transactional processes of Rentokil Accounting integration including but not limited to GL accounting, billing, cash application, collections, AP
• Assists with plans that include, but not limited to: Selection and implementation of financial platforms (including JD Edwards), and harmonization of Accounting processes and policies
• Drive the day-to-day execution of the Accounting integration process, including working with cross-functional teams, leading integration team meetings and driving proactive issues resolution.
• Create and maintain implementation project plans/timelines outlining tasks, milestone dates, dependencies, and allocation of resources.
• Enforce adherence to deadlines.
• Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
• Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple teams are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
• Communicate with leadership to keep the project aligned with their goals
• Leverage expertise to plan and execute integration and change management.
• Prepare the gap analysis on differences in accounting and implications of change.
• Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the synergy benefits expected.
• Actively participate in company projects such as process automation/process improvement, playing a key role in the design and implementation of new initiatives.
• Implement improvements to existing policies and procedures documents for areas of expertise.
• Supports teams to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for Day 1 activities.
• Audit management

What do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA a plus
• 8+ years of diverse transactional accounting experience
• M&A integration experience
• Experience working with a variety of Finance and Accounting softwares
• Experience implementing accounting and finance systems
• Great organizational and communication skills
• Project Management experience
• Experience working with large amounts of data
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Must be detail-oriented and eager to adapt and drive change
• Knowledge of pest services and related accounting a plus
• Must pass pre-employment background screen
