What do our IT Integration Manager (Data/CCI) do?
Accountable for the management of IT Merger and Acquisition programs, typically (but not exclusively) involving the technology and data integration of heritage Rentokil, Terminix and standalone brands along with newly acquired companies. Project & integration management responsibilities include the end to end coordination and completion of integration activities on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects, working with multiple integrations at different stages simultaneously. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project using their developed project plan. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status & key risks of the project. They also will work directly with stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, budget, and governance processes. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered and manage Risks and Issues as they arise. Other activities as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Guide the teams to impactful results that are align to and progress strategic goals
- Participates in strategy development and is accountable for strategy execution. Think cross-functionally about effective integration with areas outside of teams'/org's primary responsibility
- Takes full responsibility for the delivery of medium to large scale projects (typically with direct business impact and firm deadlines).
- Independently maintains an integration program scope and support playbook for stakeholders, enabling alignment to strategic goals.
- Identifies, documents, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Maintains company-standard Risk Register.
- Leverages expertise to drive matrixed project teams to deliver a repeatable process with speed, precision and quality, with the ability to adapt to unexpected setbacks and have a game plan for when things don't go as planned.
- Ensures regular and accurate communication to stakeholders, consistent with both the methods (agile, waterfall, etc) and the project management tools in use (Jira, Smartsheets, etc.)
- Abides by the change control procedures, and ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off.
- Ensures projects follow formal stage gate progression and approvals, and that they are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are recorded.
- Provides direction and support to project teams, leading through influence and acting as technology advocate for colleagues at all levels.
- Provides support and change enablement to business and branch colleagues, ensuring minimal business interruption during each phase of the project.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills to mediate disputes and uncover hidden objections or concerns that colleagues may be reluctant to share.
- Assists in delivery of continuous improvement methodologies to iterate and improve on processes for successful outcomes.
- Removes barriers for Project Teams and serves as the first level escalation point.
- Advocates for and supports a team culture of collaboration, quality delivery, relationships, and empathy to lead teams through a high change profile program.
- Excels in an environment that operates with trust, transparency and accountability.
- Serves as Point of Contact for IT 3rd Party Implementation Vendors.
- Builds strong relationships with related Project Teams, PIT Teams, IT delivery teams and business and branch partners.
- Makes informed decisions within scope by consulting the right stakeholders and balancing details with the big picture.
What do you need?
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent professional certification OR equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years in leading complex projects and engaging with colleagues at all levels.
- Prior project management, experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Scrum Master or Business Analyst within a multi-functional team.
- Prior experience with mergers and acquisitions (preferred, not required).
- Prior change enablement and IT support experience (preferred, not required).
- Prior experience working with large amounts of data (preferred, not required).
- Must pass pre-employment background screen
