Manager, Ecommerce (Remote)

Job Summary

Participates in defining the strategic direction and technology roadmap for the company’s residential web site properties (led by Terminix.com, but also encompassing Flapest.com, Jcehrlich.com, Westernexterminator.com, and others) by applying experience and best practices. Responsible for residential website conversion rate optimization and usability improvements. Collaborates with internal and external teams to develop and launch enhancements for websites and marketing channels. This person will also own the consolidation/migration strategy for the residential sites which will ultimately merge into Terminix.com as the lead site in North America. This function would have people management responsibilities for residential site administrator(s) who are managing the day-to-day administration of the various sites.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Works with leaders to develop the strategic direction of the Residential Ecommerce roadmap and develop and launch enhancements for Ecommerce marketing channels.

• Works with internal stakeholders to develop strategies and plans for increasing business customer usage of Ecommerce delivery channels, marketing platforms, related media, affiliate channels and sales objectives.

• Implements strategy for ensuring conversion rate optimization.

• Implements strategy for meeting and exceeding ecommerce related unit and revenue goals of the business

• Supports on-going marketing programs and serves as an internal subject matter expert in the digital marketing and Ecommerce field.

• Manages vendor relationships to ensure service, efficiency, value and brand standards are met.

• Facilitates digital marketing development from concept to production in coordination with third party business partners and agencies.

• Develops and reviews quality assurance standards regarding Ecommerce delivery systems to ensure policies and processes are in compliance with laws, compliance guidance and security standards.

Required Experience

• 5 years Ecommerce experience to include working with website User Experience (UX) and Web Content Management systems.

• Experience in determining current and future Ecommerce trends, as well as planning, forecasting, and building modern Ecommerce systems and solutions to build sales.

• Deep understanding of online marketing practices, web development principles, as well as project management skills, Ecommerce, lead generation, e-mail marketing, UI(User Interface), social media, and affiliate experience required.

• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

• Knowledge of ATG preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of Google analytics software, Google Adwords, Web Content Management systems (i.e., Sitecore), Ecommerce systems (i.e., Adobe Commerce) and Webmaster Tools preferred.

• Ability to effectively manage, lead, and inspire junior website implementation specialists

• Communication skills to keep leadership aware of and involved with key decisions, roadblocks, and accomplishments

• Desire to take ownership of the KPIs and manage progress against them

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required
