Role Overview:

As a Pest Control Technician at Rentokil Initial, you will be responsible for inspecting, treating, and preventing pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. Using advanced techniques and products, you will ensure customer satisfaction and safety through expert pest management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect property interiors and exteriors to identify pest activity, entry points, and infestation levels.
• Apply appropriate treatments using mechanical or chemical methods according to safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Set traps and monitor pest activity to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Provide clients with detailed advice and recommendations to prevent future pest problems.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, treatments applied, and customer interactions.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicle in good working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of pest biology and control methods is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including some weekends or on-call shifts.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
