Pest Control Technician | Tasmania

We will get you qualified and licensed while you work. Work autonomously, working with domestic and commercial clients, inspecting premises, eliminating pests, and building rapport with clients.

We are seeking an individual who is either a Trainee or a Qualified Pest Control Technician, with a strong passion for the job and a positive attitude. This full-time position offers permanent employment and is based at our Central Tasmania depot, with service coverage extending across the entire state.

Duties

• Inspecting client premises thoroughly for any sign of pests
• Carrying out measures as required to eliminate the pests
• Identifying sales leads in the region where possible
• Building rapport with and communicating with clients regarding the eradication and prevention process
• Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships

At Rentokil Initial, we take care of the training, but what we do need from you is:

• Current and valid Australian driver's license
• Eligible to work full-time in Australia
• Interest in Pest Control or related industry experience
• The ability to work independently to achieve set targets
• The ability to communicate to internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writing
• Manage, maintain, and build upon client relationships
• Confident using a mobile phone service app/tablet
