Responsible for calculating and processing all manual commission payments. Support day-to-day commission-related activities and inquiries.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Perform monthly calculations of manual commissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness based on established pay plans.
Collaborate with field sales and sales managers to understand the root causes of transactional information to accurately pay commissions.
Record transactions in Pest Pac (source system) and/or Xactly (incentive compensation tool) to provide sales credit for commission purposes.
Prepare monthly commission statements and payroll files within specified deadlines.
Assist with audits of sales commission payments and conduct sales credit research.
Handle and resolve commission inquiries from sales personnel promptly and effectively.
Review adjustments impacting commission payments to ensure compliance with pay plans.
Proactively identify areas of risk and opportunity and communicate them to the team.
Evaluate opportunities for process improvements to optimise pay plan administration.
Perform compensation plan analysis and market research to support decision-making.
Build strong alliances within sales management and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, HR, IT, and Accounting.
Meet deadlines consistently and work cohesively with other team members in sales operations.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
CANDIDATE SUMMARY
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Management/Administration, Finance or
Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 3+ years of business-related experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience calculating commissions is highly preferred
Working knowledge of ICM systems such as Xactly or Callidus
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent organisational, detail orientation, and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partners at all levels.
Strong functional knowledge of Excel specific to creating, formatting, and evaluating formulas. Proficient in Excel, Word, and other MS Office products and/or Google suite.
