Our Ambius team are the people responsible for the lovely plant decor in hotel lobbies, the clusters of plant designs in shopping centres, the green walls and floral displays you see in many restaurants and office receptions. In summary we are responsible for providing any sized organisation with interior/exterior landscaping which engages clients and their staff through the health benefits of plants!
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Sales Consultant to join our Brisbane team. Your responsibilities will be to look to build on solid existing client relationships whilst also using your outstanding acquisition skills and outgoing personality to win new sales in your sales territory. You will use a consultative relationship approach to build customer advocacy and deliver consultations to maximize selling opportunities. Our Sales consultants take joy in the design process!
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Driving sales revenue by acquisition of new business opportunities
- Creating, presenting, and selling Ambius product and design solutions
- Developing and implementing sales plans to achieve set sales targets
- Engaging new and existing customers to determine their needs according to preference and budgetary limits
- Building strong customer relationships and managing a sales pipeline
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A flare for interior design and indoor plantscaping
- Outgoing and has an interest in being creative and slightly eccentric
- Demonstrated ability to invest in a successful team environment
- Ability to listen and translate customer wants into design choices
- Ability to cold-call & plan to sales territory
- Excellent sales, solutions & negotiation skills
- Proven track record of success in sales
- Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
You will be welcomed into a friendly and competitive team that are highly motivated and focused on meeting KPI’s and achieving goals. You will be given full product training, with hands on assistance from the Sales Manager and the Ambius Operations team.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen as well as background checks.
