The Senior Manager, Sales Technology & Innovation is responsible for delivering innovative technological tools to the North America Pest sales colleagues to effectively generate new business. They will ensure the Sales IT Roadmap for ALL sales tools are delivered accurately and on time. They will investigate and collect all sales requirements for all digital tools. They will support sales rollout and training efforts of new technology enhancements. This position fosters close working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure the sales organization has the right tools, technology, setups, equipment, training and comms to be successful. They will lead, manage, coach and develop the individual sales tool teams already in creation.

Key Performance Indicators 

  • People: Manage, retain and grow the Sales Technology teams to support the administration, support and build out of The Winning Formula, Salesforce, ClickPoint/SalesExec and AdobeSign. 

  • Revenue: Drive automation through any and all sales tools and processes to ensure headcount administration synergies and new sales revenue are delivered. 

  • Profit: Deliver price increases in sales tools to ensure profit margins are achieved. 

  • Outline the technology needs of each sales channel (National, Field and Inside Sales) and ensure those are represented and prioritized on IT sprint schedules. 

  • Ensure the delivery of the IT roadmap for all sales tools each calendar year.

  • Find gaps in sales processes and propose new technologies to drive incremental revenue by each sales channel. 

  • Manage all Change Management, Communications and Colleague Impact associated with changes and enhancements of sales tools. 

  • Document all digital tool issues from 3,000+ sales colleagues as single point-of-contact for all sales tools.

  • Create and deliver governance and support model for end users of all sales tools.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive improvements in system development, implementation, adoption, and optimization of all enterprise sales technology

  • Act as primary point of contact and responsible decision maker for all sales technology needs

  • Work collaboratively to implement a comprehensive pipeline of sales tools to support all enterprise sales needs, from top of funnel value realization through account development and retention

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to transform and streamline sales process, enhancing and automating key functionality to maximize sales efforts 

  • Identify opportunities to implement better technology to improve sales efficiency

  • Leverage technology to maximize future revenue growth

  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop key performance metrics and dashboards that automate visibility and enable sales focus on technology initiatives

  • Leverage data insights and business feedback to forecast technology needs 

  • Drive adoption of winning sales behaviors by reinforcing our sales methodology and ensuring digital tools support daily excellence

  • Serve as a trusted consultant to our BI, IT, and Integrations teams

  • Support change management for all technology transformations in the sales space

  • Drive consistency and alignment with global sales operations partners 

  • Drive IT roadmap for sales for all sales tools (Listed below)

  • Drive efficient architecture and integrations for increased automation between future-state sales tool (listed below)

  • Knowledge of the list of sales tools used by the sales organization which includes but not limited to: Winning Formula, Salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, ClickPoint SalesExec and LeadExec, CCM, Adobe Sign, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Kahoot, CSC Application, Centralized Product and Price Engine, PestPac, Xactly

  • Background technical understanding and knowledge

  • Acts as subject matter expert for all sales tools

  • Works directly with business unit to ensure understanding and effectiveness of systems design

  • Manages configurations and processes of sales tools for maximum efficiency and productivity

  • Being viewed as a subject matter expert at all levels of the organization

  • Responsible for coaching and developing a team to meet company objectives

CANDIDATE SUMMARY

Required Experience

  • 7-10 years of IT experience required

  • 5-7 years of experience with matrixed organizations

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in Sales tech tool and systems

  • 3-5 years managing a team of people

  • Experience with aspects of both B2B and B2C sales processes, including sales training, customer relationship management (CRM), product demonstrations, and superior data analytics capability.

  • Extensive experience in CRM principles, practices, and applications. 

Required Leadership Traits and Characteristics

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities 

  • Ability to foster excellent relationships internal and externally

  • Ability to teach and educate others on tools

  • Strong written and verbal skills with both IT and business partners

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required

  • Technical certifications preferred
