SHE Administrator

Entry level position within Safety (would suit strong administrator looking for the opportunity to progress towards a Career in Safety)

Melbourne based opportunity for HSE Administrator to join the team in an administrative support role.

Rentokil Initial is one of the largest business services companies in the world with three leading brands in Australia. This role is integral in achieving a continuous improvement culture throughout our Rentokil Pest Control, Initial Hygiene and Ambius Indoor Plants businesses.

Passionate and committed to the highest of standards in Safety, Health and Environment, you will support our HSE Manager in driving best practice in line with the regional HSE strategic plan.

Working alongside your dedicated HSE colleagues you will play a critical role by supporting the business locations with Health, Safety, Environment and Workers Compensation administration.

Duties will include:

• Responsible for Data Base management
• Reconciliation of wages for Workers Compensation payments.
• Managing all correspondence between all related parties (internal and external)
• Reviewing and verifying incidents and actioning as needed
• Updating policies, procedures and documentation in relation to HSE.
• Uploading of relevant documents and notifications to Intranet
• Analysis of Compliance documentation and reporting
• Adhoc assistance with general administrative duties
• Special projects as required

To ensure your success in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

• 1-2 years' experience within a similar role (desirable)
• A certificate / qualification in HSE (preferable or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft office systems, excel, google mail and google drive

The successful candidate must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen as well as background checks.
